Identify and add web properties at scale for your website
We've introduced a brand new feature to our tool for all our customers: Suggested Web Properties.
At Indexing Insight we’ve built a solution which allows our customers to identify exactly which web properties to create at scale based on their website’s URL structure.
The suggested web properties is an additional option for customers to create web properties at scale.
Web properties are key to how Indexing Insight works but we noticed that adding them at scale can be a pain for our customers.
So, we built the suggested web properties feature.
The suggested web property feature automatically identifies the exact web properties you need to monitor Google indexing at scale.
It allows you to identify exactly which web properties you need to add to your Google Search Console account. So, you can spend more time analysing your indexing data and less time messing around with setting up our tool.
The feature can be found under Management → Web Properties.
Suggested web properties is a simple automated process.
When we download your page URLs, we analyse the structure. We find all the directories in your URLs and map each page to its folder.
Next, we compare these directories to the web properties already in your Google Search Console account. This helps us find any missing folders that aren't web properties.
We create a list of suggested web properties from these missing directories, sorting them by the largest number of page URLs.
You can then review this list of suggested web properties and choose which web properties to add to your Google Search Console account.
